An NFT or non-fungible-token is a digital representation of a real world asset. A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unique digital asset that represents ownership of real-world items like art, video clips, music, and more. NFTs use the same blockchain technology that powers cryptocurrencies, but they’re not a currency.

NFT’s can represent real estate, or cars, or anything that there only needs to be one of. Non-fungible means it cannot be changed and is unique. It is one of a kind.

In the crypto world nft’s often represent art. A unique piece of art too. They are jpeg’s that investors trade as if they were coins or crypto tokens. NFT’s can be traded on many different marketplaces and some even go for thousands of dollars over time.

In the beginning tradable NFT’s were static. They did not change. As the marketplace for NFT’s has matured that has changed and now there are many projects that are creating NFT’s for games or NFT’s that evolve over time.
