How easy is it to Create a Website
There are two new website-building applications out there. Both can help small entrepreneurs and influencers create websites fast, easy, and without too much hassle in the process.
Milkshake
Is a mobile website builder that can take the place of something like Linktree. It took me five minutes with the mobile app to build a fairly good-looking website, connect it to my Medium presence and Twitter and use it as part of my Instagram profile. I connected my Spotify profile and you can add Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Email, Amazon affiliate, Youtube, and more.
There are premade templates to choose from that simplify the entire process. In addition to that, you can create multiple landing pages in the app. You can have an About Me page, a blog page, and more. Also, it is possible to have more than one account at a time. You can have up to five accounts going at one time. That makes it easy for influencers and creators who have more than one presence.
It is a great little app that I have found very useful. Here is a link to my little site just for show. It is named after my cat Snickers.
There is a small monthly fee if you want to upgrade your service, but for me, the free version is just fine.
Milkshake is really fun to use and easy to set up a high-quality-looking website in no time at all. That is its advantage over other website-building platforms. It is all managed from your phone. No web browser or desktop app is needed to accomplish a high-quality website.
Carrd
Is is the other new kid on the block for simple fast easy website building. If you are offering multiple services and wanting to sell then Carrd is not really for you. This is a one-page website builder that runs in your browser.
Carrd is completely free just as Milkshake is. There is also a pro version certainly. Which gives you additional features, and for as little as $9/year.
Carrd has chosen to set itself apart from other website building applications such as SquareSpace, Wix, or WordPress by specializing in one-page website building. it sets you up with a number of templates to start with and that is helpful if you want to get on to the other parts of your business.
The thing about Carrd is that users are using it for more than just website building. Writers use it for outlining a story is one great example. The sectioned format of Carrd is handy for keeping track of characters and internal storylines, plot points, and world-building aspects.

There is also an upgraded version that allows for enhanced usage of the site builder such as the ability to use forms or third-party widgets, but these extras are mostly aimed at businesses using Carrd as a home base.
