The Time I did the Right Thing

So it was during the summer between my senior and junior year at college. I decided to spend the summer in Camden New Jersey. Instead of looking for an internship in a business or a software company that is what I did for the summer.

In Camden New Jersey at the time the children were left alone for most of the day while parents worked. It was a very poor part of America at that time even though Philadelphia was right across the river from Camden.

I wanted to help the kids of that inner-city for the summer. I helped to run a bible camp and coached the basketball team and gave the kids a safe place to spend their summer.
