Undersea Adventure
The sun was beating down on us, the heat was unbearable. We had been exploring the great barrier reef for weeks now and we were running out of supplies. Our boat was getting low on fuel and we were running out of food. But we were determined to find the lost city of Atlantis.
We had been following a map that we found in an old shipwreck. The map was damaged and it was hard to read, but we were sure that it would lead us to the lost city.
Finally, after weeks of searching, we found it. Atlantis. The lost city. It was breathtaking. The buildings were made of crystal and they glittered in the sunlight. We could see fish swimming in the streets and in the buildings. It was like a city from a dream.
We explored the city for days, and we found many treasures. But the most amazing thing was the library. The library was filled with ancient books and scrolls. We spent hours in there, reading about the history of Atlantis.
Eventually, we had to leave. We didn’t want to, but we knew that we needed to get back to the surface. We promised ourselves that we would come back, and we would explore Atlantis again.
The sun was setting as we left the city, and we knew that we would never forget the summer that we spent exploring the lost city of Atlantis.
